About Us

The club was founded in June 2002 offering a developmental/recreational program for girls ages 5-19 and is known as the St. Louis Lady Cyclones.

Our organization is governed by eleven Board Members that consist of coaches, and committee members, all of whom are parents of players. The St. Louis Lady Cyclones is an independent organization and is solely funded by the membership fees of its participants, by revenues from fundraising and by generous support of corporate sponsors.  The Board of Directors meet monthly and oversee the St. Louis Lady Cyclones, its officers and its committees.

Our programs focus on teaching fundamentals, hard work, commitment, good sportsmanship, the benefits of team work, improving athletic skills and having fun in the sport of ice hockey. Incorporate these ingredients with dedicated coaches, caring team managers, and supportive parents, and you have an association that promotes success and positive experiences for all girls at both developmental and competitive levels. We make every effort to make participation fun, yet challenging.

In accordance with USA and Missouri Hockey, the St. Louis Lady Cyclones strives to provide a safe and healthy environment for all girls to learn and grow as individuals and teammates, with an equal opportunity to play at an appropriate level without any undue emphasis on winning. The St. Louis Lady Cyclones endorses the Core Values of USA Hockey: Sportsmanship, Respect for Individual, Integrity, Pursuit of Excellence, Enjoyment, Loyalty and Team work.
