Fall Season

2024-2025 Lady Cyclones Elite

2024-2025  Lady Cyclones Elite includes the following:

• Tier 2 National Bound Teams (14U Elite, 16U Elite, and 19U Elite)

• Participation in Northern Illinois Hockey League (NIHL) All girls AA League, which is one of the most competitive Tier 2 all-girls leagues in country.

- Approximately 20 home and away game schedule

• 2-3 on-ice practices per week

•Monday night power skating/skills clinics run by Elite Hockey  (2 out of every 3 weeks)

• 80-minute and 60-minute practices Tuesdays and Thursdays

• Weekly Wednesday night goalie coaching in a dedicated clinic run by 3E Goaltending

• Video game review and skills sessions with Elite Hockey and Lady Cyclones Coaches

Tournaments

Our Elite/AA teams will participate in some of the top Tier 2 tournaments in the region. This season we are partnering with Premiere Ice Prospects (PIP), which is a girls-only organization that attracts top teams from all over North America. See below for more details. 

Our 12U/14U top teams will participate following Premier Ice Prospects/220 X 85 Tournaments:

- Chicago Deep Dish (October 18-20)

- CCM Windy City Girls Elite (December 6-8)

- Great Lakes Girls Fest in Detroit (February 7-9)

16U and 19U teams will participate in the following tournaments:

- NGCPS College Prep Series Showcase in Grand Rapids, Michigan (September 20-22)

- CCM Windy City Girls Elite (December 6-8)

- Great Lakes Girls Fest in Detroit (February 7-9)

Please note that teams may opt to do more tournaments. 

Cost to Tryout: $60

Registration Fees: TBD, but will slightly higher than last season to pay for the extra Monday night power skating sessions. We will announce final pricing in May. 

Discounts/Payment plans: 

4 and 8 month options available (5% additional processing fee for both payment plans)

50% Goalie Discount 

Multiple Sibling Discounts (Most expensive player 100%, Next player 30% off, each additional player 50% off)

Sibling Discount Program:

 The most expensive player registration fees are full price, the next most expensive is 30% off and a third and any subsequent player is 50% off. More info will be provided as tryouts approach

Monday 6/17 at 5:40 pm

16U Elite (2008-2009 Birth Years)

Monday 6/17 at 7:20 PM

Sunday 6/23 at 9:40 am

19U Elite (2005 - 2007 Birth Years)

Wednesday 6/19 at 7:20 PM

Sunday 6/23 at 11:20 am

Pre-Skate and Tryout fee: $60

All Players should bring a their own personal water bottle. 

All players should bring plain practice jersey to tryouts. No Game jerseys or jerseys with names on them are NOT allowed. You will be assigned a numbered pennie at check in. Again jerseys with any kind of identifying information are prohibited. 

Players who will miss any of the dates may be eligible for a make-up tryout. Please reach out to AndyFolsom@hotmail.com if you are in this situation.

Important Information: 

This would be a great time to get your skates sharpened. Also you should check the rest of your gear to make sure everything is in working order. Specifically check the fit on helmets and make sure your screws are tight and not missing.
