The St. Louis Lady Cyclones have partnered with women's pro-hockey player Hayley Williams to run a camp for our club on April 29 and April 30. Hayley Williams plays for the Hungarian National Team and is in her 8th year as a pro. She founded Hockey Worldwide Academy in 2020 and is on a mission to help female hockey players make their dream team by teaching, training, and inspiring them to become strong, skilled, and confident, both on and off the ice. Who: 6U, 8U, and 10U plus players who played MoHockey C1 and lower.
When: April 29 from 3:40-4:40; April 30 from 1:10-3:20
Cost: $150

The tentative overview of the camp will be as follows:
Day 1: Skating Foundations, Puck Protection, Deception, Offensive Change of Direction
Day 2: Agility, Turns, Situation/Tactical Passing & Scoring
This camp will be limited to 26 skaters to ensure everyone gets the most out of the camp.

Skating and Skills Camp with Zane Truman of STL Hockey
The St. Louis Lady Cyclones have partnered with Zane Truman and his team over at STL Hockey Training to host a Skating and Skills camp. This Camp will focus on forward/backward strides, turns, stops/starts, stickhandling, and shooting accuracy/power.
Who: 6U, 8U, and 10U plus players who played MoHockey C1 and lower.
When: 5/13 4:50-5:50; 5/20 4:30-5:30
Cost: $100

Goal Scoring Camp w/STL Hockey
Goal Scoring Camp with Zane Truman of STL Hockey
This Camp will work on generating quality scoring chances in different offensive situations such as tips, net front battles, 2-1, 3-2, driving the net etc. This will include a 30 minute off-ice instruction prior to the on-ice session. All players should be dressed minus helmets and gloves for the off-ice session.
Who: 10U plus players who played AA (NIHL) and up or played MoHockey B3 and up
When: 5/13 off-ice 2:40-3:10 on-ice 3:10-4:40; 5/20 off-ice 1:40-2:10 on ice 2:10-4:20

Rising 10U Camp with Tyler Elbrecht and Elite Hockey Camps
Rising 10U camp with Tyler Elbrecht and Elite Hockey
This camp is for all of our players born in 2014. Going from 8U half ice to 10U full ice is a major adjustment; and what a better way to ease the transition than to attend this camp. Tyler and his coaches will work on teaching our players the skills, strategies, and rules to help make them ready for Fall season. This camp will be over two weekends and, pending ice availability, may also include a scrimmage for those who are interested. It will be limited to 30 players. Details are below
Who: Players born in 2014 (exceptions can be made for older players who have not yet played on a team)
When: 5/7 1:40-3:50; 5/21 12:30-3:00
Cost: $250
Special note for 2014 players who are wanting to be a goalie: This camp is good for you too! Recommend attending it as a skater so you can develop as well.

CYCLONES DAY CAMP JUL 10-14th
This custom week long day camp will feature twenty hours of on-ice instruction. Two hours each morning focusing on power skating and edgework and two hours on the afternoon focusing on a particular area of emphasis (See schedule below) The camp will be lead by Tyler Elbrecht and his team from Elite Hockey Camps. Full Day, 5 Day Camp, open to all female skaters of ages 5-14 years old (2008-2018 Birth Years)
The camp will include:
20 - hours of on-ice skating/skills instruction (two in the morning and two in the afternoon)
5 hour of off-ice activities throughout the week
This is a custom program for the St. Louis Lady Cyclones but is open to all girls in the St. Louis region regardless of where they played hockey for the fall 2020-21 season. The details of the schedule and curriculum can be found below.

Session Details:
Morning Skating Session - The two hour morning session will focus on power skating, Edgework and skating technique. Specifically working on edgework, tight turns, explosive starts and proper stopping
Stick Handling Session - Players will work on developing quick hands, improving upon maneuvers such as a toe drag & reverse toe drag, stickhandling without looking at the puck and puck protection.
Shooting & Scoring Session -This session will focus on shooting technique, weight transfer, quick release shooting and techniques for increasing scoring proficiency
Battle Camp and Body Positioning Session - will focus on how to properly & safely fight for loose pucks, win one-on-one battles, protect the puck, and how to use body positioning to gain possession and neutralize an opponent.
Small Area Games - The final afternoon session of the week will put everything together in some small area games. Small area games are great for increasing competition, battling for loose pucks, puck protection and creating scoring chances in tight spaces.
All skaters must provide their own lunch and all hockey equipment
